Paul Sharman 


Head Coach Paul Sharman is a Silver Licence coach and has been teaching and coaching swimming for over 15 years. He started his career as a Learn to Swim teacher and quickly progressed to coaching junior squads.

In his time as Head Coach, he has developed countless NSW Country and State Champions, as well as numerous National Age medallists. Paul was chosen as part of the Coaching staff for the Commonwealth Youth Games in India in 2008, as well as coaching positions on the Trans Tasman, Youth Olympics, and Oceana Games Teams. 

In 2010 Paul was awarded the NSW Age Group Coach of the year award for his club's performance at the state championships. Recently, Paul has coached Paralympian Maddi Elliot to a Commonwealth Games gold medal and new World Record in the S8 100m Freestyle.


Chris Griffin


Assistant Coach Chris Griffin is a Bronze License coach and has been teaching and coaching swimming for over 4 years.  

Chris started his career as a Lifeguard at Nusport and then progressed onto the teaching of learn to swim and coaching the junior program. Chris has since gained a well-rounded knowledge of competitive swimming and has a passion for the development of the U/12 age group having helped to develop numerous state swimmers. Chris has also spent some time being mentored alongside Michael Bohl one of Australia's most successful coaches.
